The following Four Year B.Tech courses are offered by the college and all the B.Tech Courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Government of Kerala and the college is affiliated to University of Calicut ,Kerala.

Candidates for admission to the B.Tech. Engineering degree course shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of State Board of Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent by any Universities of Kerala, with 60% aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry put together and 45% marks in Mathematics are eligible for admission. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered.
Candidates, belonging to Socially and Educationally Backwards Classes (SEBC) with a total family annual income not exceeding 4.5Lakhs (the limit will be notified by the Government of Kerala from time to time) need only 40% marks in Mathematics and 55% marks in Physics and Chemistry put together (Relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed to SEBC candidates.)
Candidates belonging to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe need only a pass in the qualifying examination.
Reservation of B.Tech Seats are done based on the reservation policy vide G.o. (Ms) No. 115/2011/H.Edn, dated 03-08-2011 as given below

Students need to get qualified in State Level Entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala or State level/National level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala as equivalent for all seats other than NRI Quota.
The Managements are entitled to fill up 15% seats in the Non Resident Indians(NRI) category by admitting qualified students who are dependents of Non Resident Indians. These students are exempted from qualifying in any Entrance Test and can be admitted based on their academic eligibility as stipulated by University of Calicut.
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December of the year of admission. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit.
A candidate who has a diploma in engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Examination or an examination recognized equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing regular course of 3 years in an institute approved by AICTE, securing a cumulative minimum of 50% marks in the second and third years diploma examination shall be eligible to be admitted to the first year B.Tech . program of the University of Calicut if he/she has qualified the entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or State level/National level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala as equivalent.
Diploma holders with 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST) are also eligible for admission to the 3rd semester (regular full-time batch) engineering degree course (B.Tech.) under the lateral entry scheme provided they qualify the Entrance Examination conducted for the lateral entry scheme by the state Government. These students are not required to study any deficiency papers of the combined first and second semesters.
