Six Days ToT program for engineering faculty by ASAP

Six days residential “Training of Trainers” (ToT) program organized by Advanced Skill Development Centre, a division of Government of Kerala was held in Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology from 20th September to 25th September 2018. Faculty from various engineering colleges across Kerala participated in the training program. Training was specialised in Artificial intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning with the aim of imparting required skill sets to the engineering students in the future so that they can be more employable based on industrial requirements. Six day training sessions were handled by various expert faculties from IIT Palakkad, College of Engineering Trivandrum etc. Dr. Jiji CV( Principal, College of Engineering Trivandrum),Dr. Suresh ( Associate professor, College of Engineering , Trivandrum), Dr. Mrinal Kanthi Das ( IIT Palakkad), Dr. Saheli Bhadra (IIT Palakkad), Dr. Chandra Sekhar Lakshmi Narayanan ( IIT , Palakkaad) and Dr. Arun Rajkumar (Data analyst, Bangalore) handled the different sessions. The program was inaugurated by Principal of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Dr.B.G.Vishnuram on 20th Sepetember 2018 at 10.00am. Vigil Kumar- IT Head of ASDC Division presided over the function. The closing ceremony was held on 25th September 2018. Dr.Sree Mahadevan Pillai-Director Academics, Dr.Krishna Kumar Kishor-Asst.Director Academics and Dr.B.G.Vishnuram, Principal-ASET addressed the gathering.
