Two-Day Workshop on NBA Accreditation Process

NBA (National Board of Accreditation) assures quality education, especially of the programmes in professional and technical disciplines, i.e., Engineering and Technology, Management, Architecture, Pharmacy and Hospitality, through the mechanism of accreditation of programs offered by technical institutions. In order to successfully prepare an institution for NBA accreditation, a thorough understanding of the accreditation/ evaluation criteria and processes, concepts of outcome based education, developing program outcomes (PO), program specific outcomes (PSO), course outcome (CO) CO-PO mapping, file preparation and document management for Self-Assessment Report (SAR) are essential. This workshop equips the participants to prepare their institutions to align their activities to the quality requirement of NBA.

  1. Need for NBA
  2. Introduction to Outcome Based Education
  3. Process of developing vision and mission for institute and department
  4. Development of PEOs, PSOs, COs, POs for programmes.
  5. Mapping of COs and POs with examples for theory courses and laboratory courses
  6. Assessment and attainment of POs.
  7. Planning for closing of attainment gap.
  8. Impact analysis, feedback and continuous improvement of students and faculties.
  9. Preparation and document management for Self -Assessment Report (SAR)
  10. Conduct of NBA inspection and follow up

Faculty from Govt. and Govt. Aided institution are exempted from Registration Fee Other Participants: 2000 for 2 Days. Registration fee is accepted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology” payable at Palakkad.
