Technocratz Association Day 2025 was successfully organized on 30th July 2025 by the Department of Computer Science, marking the formal inauguration of the association’s academic activities for the year. The event served as a vibrant platform to promote technical excellence, creative thinking, innovation, and collaboration among students.
The program commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Amritha Devadasan, setting the tone for a day filled with learning and celebration of talent. She highlighted the significance of association activities in enhancing students’ academic and professional growth.
As part of the celebration, two major technical and creative events were conducted:
- Code Crush – A high-paced debugging and problem-solving competition that challenged participants to demonstrate their coding skills, logical reasoning, and accuracy under time constraints.
- Cover Clash – A solo creative cover design competition that tested participants’ abilities in visual communication, aesthetics, and originality.
The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. K. R. Sahasranand, Assistant Professor, Department of Data Science, IIT Palakkad, as the Chief Guest. In his address, he inspired the students to embrace practical learning approaches, cultivate interdisciplinary skills, and stay curious in the ever-evolving field of technology. His insights motivated students to approach their academics with innovation and teamwork in mind.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, who appreciated the Department of Computer Science for providing platforms that nurture both technical and creative talents of students. Following this, the Felicitation Address by Dr. S. Gunasekaran, Head of the Department of Computer Science, acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the association and
encouraged students to actively engage in various upcoming activities to sharpen their skills and enhance their career prospects.
Dr. Reshmi B, Association Coordinator, presented a detailed overview of the association’s plan for the academic year. She introduced the office bearers for the year and officially announced the Associate Clubs under the Technocratz Association:
- Coding Club – For programming enthusiasts to solve challenges and enhance coding proficiency.
- Gaming Club – A space to explore interactive entertainment and game development.
- Hackathon Club – To prepare students for competitive hackathons and collaborative problem-solving events.
- Media Club – Dedicated to creative content, design, and digital promotions.
These clubs aim to provide a holistic learning environment where students can
explore, innovate, and excel in both technical and creative domains.
The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks by E. A. Aadith Kumar, President of the Technocratz Association, who expressed gratitude to the management, faculty, organizing team, and participants for their contribution to making the event a grand success.
Technocratz Association Day 2025 not only marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey but also reinforced the department’s commitment to fostering innovation, teamwork, and professional growth among its students.
