Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit on August 27, 2025. The festivities began with a graceful performance of Thiruvathirakali, where students showcased traditional Kerala dance in perfect rhythm and harmony, followed by an energetic flash mob that brought a modern twist and vibrant energy to the stage.
The beats of Sinkarimelam echoed through the campus, building a festive atmosphere. A colorful Pookkalam (floral decoration) adorned the venue, adding beauty and tradition to the day. The traditional Thamboolam ritual was also part of the celebrations, enriching the cultural experience.
Adding fun and excitement to the day, students took part in traditional Onam games like Musical Chair and Vadamvali (tug of war), drawing cheers and laughter from the crowd.
