The National Federation of Engineers for Electrical Safety (NFE) – Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) Michael Faraday Electrical Safety and Standards Incubation Centre, the first incubation centre under NFE, was inaugurated on 10th September 2025 at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology.
The center was formally inaugurated by Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, ASET, through a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The inaugural meeting was presided over by Mr. Rajan Menon, State President, NFE Kerala Chapter. NFE officials, Mr. Venugopal and Dr. P. Babu, were present on behalf of the federation.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Pradip C., Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Felicitations were offered by Dr. Murugananth, Dr. P. Babu, and Mr. Venugopal. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Vipindas.K, Assistant Professor, ASET.
As part of the event, a video on electrical safety was presented to highlight the importance of safe practices in the field. The programme witnessed the active participation of 71 students and 10 faculty members from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department.
The inauguration of this Centre marks a significant step towards fostering research, innovation, and awareness in the domain of electrical safety and standards.
