The Civil Engineering Association STHAPATYA 2025 was inaugurated on September 17, 2025, at Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), Palakkad. The inauguration marked the beginning of a series of events organized by the association.
Activities Conducted
- Prayer and Welcome Address: The event commenced with a prayer followed by a welcome address by Dr. B.V. Mathew, Professor & HOD, Department of Civil Engineering.
- Logo Launch and Presidential Address: A logo launch took place, accompanied by the presidential address by Dr. P.R. Suresh, Principal, ASET.
- Felicitation Addresses: Dr. Rajeev.N, Dean Academics , ASET,delivered felicitation addresses.
- Inaugural Address: Mr. Anand Sebastian, Senior Scientist & Head, Geospatial Science and Technology Division, Integrated Rural Technology Centre, Palakkad, gave the inaugural address.
- Keynote Session: A keynote session on “From Pixels to Policy: Geospatial Tools for Monitoring Sustainable Development Goals” was conducted from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm.
- Association Briefing and Newsletter Release: Association briefing and newsletter release were part of the proceedings.
- Vote of Thanks: Secretary of the association delivered the vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the management, the chief guest, principal, Faculty and students for their enthusiastic participation and support.
In the afternoon session, the program was followed by a series of technical games conducted by the students . The activities encouraged teamwork, innovation and active participation among students.
