The Department of CSE organized a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Configure & Code – Your Smart Phone Sensors with MIT App Inventor” for the second-year CSE students 0n 23 to 24th September 2025. The session was facilitated by Mr. Sankaran Sasi, Co-Founder & Application Engineer, Aatral Academy.
The workshop focused on introducing students to the MIT App Inventor platform, enabling them to design and develop Android applications by leveraging smartphone sensors. Participants were guided through the basics of block-based programming, sensor configuration, and real-time application development.
The event successfully bridged theoretical learning with practical implementation, empowering students to innovate using smartphone technologies.
