Hack Fusion 2025 : A Day of Ideas, Innovation & Inspiration

The campus of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology buzzed with creativity and energy on September 22, 2025, as over 650 students came together for Hack Fusion 2025, the internal hackathon leading up to Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025.

With 109 teams working tirelessly through the day, the event turned into a showcase of fresh ideas and out-of-the-box solutions for national-level problem statements. From smart road safety systems and AI-powered healthcare tools to cybersecurity platforms and disaster-response drones, the participants proved that innovation thrives where young minds unite.

The journey began with an awareness session on September 20,initiated by our respected principal Dr. P R Suresh and orientation given to students by Dr. Reshmi B, SPOC, Faculty Coordinator SIH 2025.The awareness session introduced students to the hackathon’s challenges and opportunities.The student volunteers team led by Mr. Kiran S7 CSE, Ms. Sreenidhi S7 CSE, Mr.Midun S5 CSE-B Ms.Diya Krishna S5 CSE-B along with Faculty co-cordinator Mr.Nandu S Nair were instrumental in making the event happen.

Jury Panel Members extended their whole hearted support in taking the time to evaluate and provide valuable feedback to the participants at Hack Fusion. Judges were impressed by the quality and practicality of the projects. In the end, the Top 9 teams, including Novus, Clip Sentinel, Data Forge, and Seraphim, bagged top honors. Additionally, 45 teams earned a place for nominations to be submitted for SIH 2025 in the shortlist category, while 5 teams made it to the waiting list.

More than just a competition, Hack Fusion 2025 was a transformative learning experience. It encouraged teamwork, creative problem-solving, and confidence – qualities that will carry ASET students to shine on the national SIH stage.
