Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, in association with Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi, organized a Disaster Management Training programme on 7th November 2025 at Visvesvaraya Hall. The event was coordinated by NSS Unit 311 with the objective of creating awareness among students about effective disaster response and safety measures.
The session focused on practical training in fire safety, first aid, and emergency evacuation techniques. Experts from Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi demonstrated essential rescue methods and provided valuable insights into disaster preparedness. The training emphasized the importance of timely action, teamwork, and presence of mind during emergencies.
Students actively participated in the demonstrations, making the session highly interactive and informative. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the NSS Programme Officer, appreciating the trainers for their valuable contribution and the participants for their enthusiastic involvement.
