Palakkad OBG Society and She Shakti, in collaboration with the Ahalia Group, organized an awareness program on Preventing Violence Against Women on December 17, 2025, at 2:30 PM at the AWACH Auditorium
The program included various competitions and interactive sessions involving students from MBA, BBA, Engineering, and Nursing streams. The major events conducted were a Digital Poster Making Competition on the theme “Unite to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls”, a 3-minute Speech Competition on subtopics related to saying no to violence against women, and a Panel Discussion titled “Say No to Violence Against Women.”
A total of seven students from our college actively participated in the program. Ms. Athulya Sivadasan (S6 ECE) secured First Prize in the 3-minute Speech Competition, and Ms. Nandana R (S6 CS-B) won the Third Prize in the Digital Poster Making Competition. Ms. Pooja P Menon (S8 ECE), Mr. Dharshin R (S6 CS-A), and Ms. D. Haritha (S6 CSE-A) represented our college in the Panel Discussion and received high appreciation for their valuable contributions.
In addition, Ms. Babitha Rosh (S8 EE) participated in the Speech Competition, and Mr. Sabarinath(S6 ECE) took part in the Digital Poster Making Competition, showcasing commendable efforts. All participants were awarded participation certificates.
