The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized Algorythm CSE Association Day as part of Technocratz, on 20th February 2026 with active participation from students and faculty members. The inaugural session featured the prayer song by Aiswarya K V and Nandana R (S3 CSE), followed by the welcome address by Dr. Reshmi B, Associate Professor, Department of CSE. The Presidential address was delivered by Dr. P R Suresh, Principal, ASET, and the Felicitation address by Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Vice Principal, ASET. The Inaugural address was given by Dr. S Gunasekaran, Professor and Head of the Department of CSE. The Association Event Briefing was presented by E A Aadith Kumar, President, Technocratz, and the program concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Nithya R, Secretary, Technocratz.
As part of Algorythm, various technical and non-technical events including Meme Paintbrush Madness, Kick Off.exe (E-Football PES Tournament), UNO Challenge, Hunt.exe, Reel Contest, Keymasters, and Treasure Hunt were conducted successfully, and winners were awarded cash prizes.
In addition, a workshop on “Entrepreneurship: Opportunities, Challenges, and Innovation in the Modern Era” was conducted on 23rd February 2026 at Visvesvaraya Hall from 10 AM to 12 PM. The session was handled by Ms. Vinitha Joseph, Senior Technology Fellow, Kerala Startup Mission, who shared valuable insights on entrepreneurship and innovation. The workshop was convened by Dr. S Gunasekaran, HoD, CSE, and coordinated by Dr. Reshmi B, Associate Professor and Association Coordinator. The session was highly informative and well-received by the participants.
