Dr. S. John Alexis is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from the Bharathiar University,
Coimbatore. He is having total of 35 years of experience in Teaching, UG and PG courses. He has also guided 5 Ph. D scholars. He is a
member of various professional societies; Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Institution of Engineers (IEI), International Association
of Engineers (IAENG), and International Society for Research and Development (ISRD) and Indian Society of Systems for Science &
Engineering (ISSE). He is having 60 publications in various national and international conferences and journals. The areas of interests include
Materials, Modern Manufacturing methods and Additive Manufacturing. He has also delivered many invited lectures in various forums. He is also having one patent to his credit. He had been a member of Board of studies for autonomous institutions and an external expert committee
member for Doctoral committee of Private universities.
