Dr. Mathew B V is Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. He received his Ph.D. from Madras University in the
interdisciplinary area of Engineering Education. He did his M.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras and
B.Tech from Government Engineering College Thrissur with Honours. He is having 35 years of teaching and one year of industry experience.
He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers and Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. He is having 4 publications in national
and international journals. The areas of interests are Engineering Education and Concrete Technology. He is also actively involved in the
accreditation work of the institute. Currently teaching course on Advanced Concrete Technology and study on durability of concrete
subjected to sulphate attack and remedial measures.
