The Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology celebrated the 79th Independence Day on Friday with a vibrant display of patriotism and unity. The celebrations began at 8:55 a.m. with the flag hoisting by Principal Dr. P. R. Suresh, followed by the singing of the national anthem.
Students and staff participated enthusiastically in a series of programmes including Tiranga selfie sessions, patriotic songs, flag distribution and a group photograph. Refreshments were served to all, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event was coordinated by National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers, whose meticulous planning ensured the smooth conduct of the programme. The celebration concluded with participants pledging to uphold the values of freedom and unity.
