The NSS Unit of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, in association with Kanjikode Railway Station, organized a debate competition on 26th September 2025 as part of Swachtotsav 2025 and Swachhata Hi Seva. The event was held at 1.15 pm in the NSS Room with enthusiastic participation from students and staff.
The topic of the debate was “Awareness programs are more effective than strict laws in maintaining cleanliness”. Participants presented strong viewpoints on the significance of awareness, community participation, and the role of laws in ensuring a clean and sustainable environment.
The competition provided a platform for critical discussion and inspired the participants to take active roles in promoting cleanliness and social responsibility. The collaborative effort with Kanjikode Railway Station added more value to the initiative, making the event a resounding success.
