The inauguration of the Newsletter of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was held on 12th August 2025 at Visvesvaraya Hall. The event was honored by the presence of our respected Principal, Dr. P. R. Suresh, and Vice Principal, Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, along with Mr. Sunder V, Head of Department, and faculty members Ms. Neethu A B and Ms. Reshma P K. The program opened by invoking the blessings of Almighty through a prayer by the S3 students, Ms Anamika S and Ms. Neha P.R., creating an atmosphere of grace that perfectly set the tone for the ceremony. The Head of Department, Mr. Sunder V, welcomed the gathering and highlighted the importance of
communication and creative expression in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He also expressed the importance of such releases in the upliftment and growth of the department. A video presentation was then screened, showcasing the journey of making the newsletter and the teamwork involved in its creation. Following this Mr.Vithul M delivered a speech about the Newsletter, outlining its objectives, content highlights, and its role in promoting the department’s achievements and innovations. The most awaited moment of the day was the Official Newsletter Launch by Dr. P. R. Suresh and Dr.Krishna Kumar Kishor, marking the formal release of the AIML Department Newsletter. Principal, Dr. P. R. Suresh, then addressed the gathering, appreciating the initiative and motivating the department to continue striving for excellence. This was followed by the Felicitation Address delivered by our Vice Principal, Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, who congratulated the editorial team and encouraged more such initiatives in the future. A certificate of appreciation was then presented to Mr. Darshan R M, the main person behind the design of the newsletter, in recognition of his exceptional dedication, creativity, and key role in
bringing the newsletter to life. The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms.Aksharaa D, expressing gratitude to all
dignitaries, faculty members, the editorial team and everyone who contributed to the success of the event. Though the event witnessed limited audience presence, it was executed smoothly and professionally, marking an important milestone for the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. The launch set the stage for future editions of the newsletter and strengthened the spirit of creativity
within the department.
