National Electrical Code Workshop 2025

Coimbatore, May 16, 2025 – The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology proudly participated in a significant “One Day Workshop on the National Electrical Code of India 2023.” The event, jointly organized by the National Federation of Engineers for Electrical Safety (NFE) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), was held at Residency Towers, Coimbatore. This workshop coincided with the inauguration of the NFE Coimbatore Chapter, adding a special dimension to the day’s proceedings.

Workshop Highlights and Expert Insights

The workshop provided invaluable insights into the recently updated National Electrical Code of India 2023, crucial for enhancing electrical safety standards across the nation. Esteemed dignitaries and resource persons graced the event, including Mr. S. Gopa Kumar, President NFE; Mr. S. Appavoo, General Secretary NFE; Mr. K. P. Domnic, Founder Member & Event Chairman; and Er. Krish Theobald, Technical Chair Director. Their expertise illuminated various aspects of the code, fostering a deeper understanding among participants.

Murugananth (Professor & HOD), Dr. Pradip C (Professor), Mr. A. As India’s first NFE Student Chapter, their involvement underscores Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology’s commitment to electrical safety and professional growth.
