The National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was celebrated at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty. The event began with the flag hoisting by Dr. B. V. Mathew, Professor & Head of the Civil Engineering Department, followed by an inspiring address on the values of social service and community development.
As part of the Green Monument initiative, a sapling was planted to promote environmental sustainability. By 11.00 a.m., a Pledge Wall was set up to encourage students to commit to social responsibility; it was formally inaugurated by Dr. Pradip C, Head of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, and Dr. Leesha Paul, Professor, ECE.
A photo exhibition was also arranged at the IEDC Room, featuring remarkable photographs captured by eminent photographers, students, and staff members. The event highlighted the spirit of volunteerism, environmental care, and collective responsibility, inspiring participants to engage more actively in social causes.
