Palakkad, Sept 20: The NSS Unit of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology (ASET) organized a day-long orientation programme on September 20, 2025. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Dr. P. R. Suresh, who highlighted the importance of volunteerism and social responsibility among students.
The forenoon session began with an engaging Rudhirasena orientation led by Mr. Faraz and Ms. Jithisha, TSR–Palakkad region coordinators. This was followed by an informative talk on PACE delivered by Ms. Athulya S. and Mr. Bholu Kumar.
In the afternoon, the first session was handled by Ms. Sneha, who explained the objectives and functions of Energcell. Later, Mr. Rishikesh V. S., an esteemed alumnus, shared his inspiring NSS experiences, motivating the volunteers to actively contribute to society.
The sessions offered valuable insights while maintaining an atmosphere of enthusiasm and interaction. The day concluded with students cherishing the blend of learning, motivation, and joy the programme brought.
