The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, in collaboration with its student association ASTHRA, successfully organized a
three-day “THINKFLASK” workshop from 2025 September 17th to 19th in the department lab. The workshop was addressed by the Principal Dr. P.R. Suresh and Head of the Department Mr. Sunder V, Convenor led by resource persons Mr. Vishnu Viswanathan (Senior Technology Consultant) and Mr. Vishnu Sayanth (Senior Full Stack Developer). The workshop provided students with practical, hands-on experience in basic Python programming and the Flask framework, culminating in the development of a functional chatbot. Faculty coordinators Mrs. Reshma P.K. and Mrs. Neethu A.B. also addressed the participants, and student coordinators Mr. Sachin K and Ms. Neha P.R. also played a key role. Feedback was collected from the students and effectiveness of the program was assessed through a MCQ conducted by the resource persons. Certificates were distributed at the end of the workshop.
