A two-day workshop on Lithium-Ion Battery Technology was conducted by IIT Palakkad on 17th and 18th August 2026. The workshop was attended by Gowri Krishnakumar, Sriya S, Sandra K Vidhu, Geethika G, Devashri S, I Sainabha, Saranya D, and Thrishna M from S3 ECE, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology.
The sessions provided an introduction to lithium-ion battery technology, including its working principles, components, applications, and recent developments. The workshop offered valuable exposure to the growing field of energy storage and its applications in modern electronics and electric mobility.
