A robotics competition was organized by IEEE at CUSAT, Kochi, on 12th September 2026. The competition was attended by Zoya Prakasan, Nethra S, Hari Krishna K, Afsana A, and Amritha J from S5 ECE, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology.
The competition involved designing and developing a maze-solving robot using ESP32 microcontroller, motor driver, DC geared motors, and sensors. The event provided valuable hands-on experience in embedded systems, robotics, sensor interfacing, motor control, and programming, as well as practical exposure to assembling electronic components, troubleshooting, and improving navigation performance. The competition offered valuable exposure to the growing field of robotics and its applications in automation and intelligent systems.
