A webinar on “Entrepreneurship as a career choice” was handled by Ms. Lakshmy Suresh, Assistant Professor and Nodal Officer, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) – ASET, Palakkad. The event was organized by IEDC in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 24.07.2020. Seventy students of various academic institutions attended the program. The talk mainly emphasized on entrepreneurship as a future career option and how to modify the mindset of students to achieve it. The importance of innovation and creativity was the main part of the discussion. Various funding schemes available for entrepreneurs were also shared with the students. Arjun S. (S8 CSE) and Priyanka Thachat (S8 CE) were the overall coordinators of the event.
