The inaugural ceremony of Civil Engineering Association was held on 25.10.2018. Miss. Haritha of Seventh semester, Civil Engineering department gave the welcome address. Dr. K. K. Babu, Director, Sreepathy Institute of Management of Technology, Palakkad officially inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Dr. B.G. Vishnuram, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology gave the presidential address on the occasion.
Dr. K.K. Babu gave a lecture on “Geotechnical Investigation” which was very useful for the upcoming Civil Engineers. The session was very helpful for the students which covered the details of all the aspects of soil investigation. They had a good interactive session after the lecture, which helped the students to clarify their doubts on soil investigation.
Mr. Rajat. T. A of fifth semester, Civil Engineering Department winded up the inaugural function by delivering the vote of thanks and with a hope that the coming academic year will be prosperous.
