A comprehensive placement training program was conducted for final-year students, focusing on essential skills to enhance employability and career readiness. The training began with goal-setting exercises aimed at fostering a positive attitude, helping students to clearly define their career objectives. Sessions on resume building provided guidance on creating effective, professional resumes tailored to job roles, along with useful resume templates. Confidence-building exercises, public speaking practice, and communication enhancement activities helped students improve their interpersonal skills. Training on body language and presentation skills focused on delivering impactful presentations and projecting confidence through non-verbal cues. Students were introduced to LinkedIn, learning how to build a professional network and leverage job opportunities. Grooming and etiquette were emphasized to help students present themselves professionally. Mock group discussions provided hands-on experience in articulating ideas effectively in a team setting. The program also covered fundamentals of Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning, with focus on 10 priority topics to prepare students for placement exams. To further support learning, students were given classroom worksheets and test series with three practice papers on quantitative aptitude and logical reasoning. Thus the placement training provided final-year students with a comprehensive skill set to improve their employability. Through a blend of practical exercises, theoretical knowledge, and personalized feedback, students were well-prepared for the demands of campus placements and professional interviews. This training has significantly enhanced their confidence, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, laying a strong foundation for their future careers.
