A technical session on “LaTeX for Engineers – Creating Professional Reports” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology, on 18 September 2026 through Google Meet.
The session was led by Mr. Vivek V S, B.Tech (2014–2018 Batch) and Research Scholar at IIT Bombay. He introduced students to the use of LaTeX for preparing well-structured technical documents, project reports, research papers and theses.
The interactive session covered document formatting, templates, report preparation and professional presentation techniques. The programme was attended by final-year students of ASET and aimed at strengthening their technical documentation and research-writing skills.
