STHAPATYA Civil Engineering Association Inaugurated at ASET
Palakkad, September 16: The Civil Engineering Association of Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), STHAPATYA, was formally inaugurated at a function held at Visvesvaraya Hall on Wednesday.
Mr. Krishnan B T V, Chief Engineer (Retd.), Harbour Engineering Department, Government of Kerala, inaugurated the association. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of practical knowledge, professional skills and continuous learning for aspiring Civil Engineers.
Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, ASET, delivered the presidential address and emphasized the role of professional associations in providing students with opportunities for technical learning, leadership development and industry exposure.
Dr. B. V. Mathew, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, spoke about the objectives and activities of STHAPATYA. Dr. Rajeev N., Dean Academics, highlighted the importance of academic excellence and active participation in technical and co-curricular activities.
Mr. Anurudh R., Coordinator of STHAPATYA, introduced the office bearers of the association and outlined the vision and planned activities, including technical programmes, seminars, workshops, competitions and industry interactions.
The programme was attended by faculty members and students of the Civil Engineering Department. The inauguration marked the beginning of a series of academic, technical and professional development activities under STHAPATYA.
