Prof D.Prakash is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received his M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Chennai. He is having total of 39 years of teaching experience. He is a life member of various professional societies; Indian society Society of Technical Education , fellow of Institution of Engineers (india). The areas of interests are computational heat transfer and numerical methods in thermal sciences . He is also actively involved in training of students for professional entrance examination like GATE. Currently teaching courses on thermal sciences
