Department of Civil Engineering, ASET conducted a 2 day digital survey camp in association with Land and Revenue department, Kerala from 19/02/2025 to 20/02/2025. The camp began with an orientation class held at the Collectorate, Palakkad on the first day. During this session, the Superintendents from the Land and Revenue Department, Palakkad provided an in-depth overview of digital surveying techniques. The camp saw the active participation of both S4 and S6 Civil Engineering students, along with the HoD of the Civil Engineering Department, faculty members and lab instructors. On the second day, the group was divided into three smaller teams, each visiting one of three different resurvey locations. This division allowed students to receive hands-on training with the RTK and RTS equipment. The exposure to RTK and RTS systems, in particular, gave the students a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, making the camp a rewarding experience for all involved.
