Science and Technology Education to be promoted in Mother Tongue – Vaisakhan

70 % of the publications in Malayalam are literary works and scientific publications are meagre, whereas it is just the reverse in the western countries; we should promote science education in mother tongue – told Vaisakhan, distinguished fellow and former president of Kerala Sahitya Academy, while inaugurating the International Mother Language day celebrations organised by Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology in association with Ahalia Heritage Village. The function took place on 21 February 2023. Dr. P. Murali, Former Principal, Government Victoria College, spoke about the importance of learning concepts in Mother Language. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology presided over the event. Dr. R.V.K. Varma, Director, Ahalia Heritage Village offered felicitation address. Ms. Bindu Valoor, Academics Outreach Manager welcomed the audience and Ms. Chippy Binoy, ASET Literary Club Coordinator proposed vote of thanks. Students from Ahalia Public School, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology and Literary club members of Government Arts and Science college, Nattukal attended the event.
