The Department of Mechanical Engineering organised an Alumni Talk Series on 30 September 2026, featuring Sujith M, alumnus of the 2013–2017 batch of Mechanical Engineering, who is currently working as a Senior Data Engineer at KPMG.
The session provided students with valuable insights into the immense opportunities in the fields of Data Engineering and Data Analytics. Sujith shared his professional journey and guided students on the pathways and steps to transition into the data analytics domain.
He also highlighted the key technical and professional skills required to build a successful career in the field, giving students a clearer understanding of the competencies expected by the industry.
The session was attended by students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and provided an excellent opportunity for them to interact with and learn from an alumnus working in a technology-driven career.
The programme was presided over by the Principal and Dean – Academics, and concluded with an enriching interaction between the alumnus and the students.
