The students of ASET conducted the ASET SOCCER LEAGUE SEASON- 5 (ASL) from 2024 February 21 at ASET Ground. The ASL Season 5 matches are coordinated by Mr. Bibin. B, Assistant Professor in Physical Education. 7 Teams have participated in this tournament; Eagles FC, Adengappa FC, Boca Junior FC, Muthupandi FC, Bhangers FC, Al-Miami FC and Theepori FC. The first round of the tournament was played in Round Robin Format. Team Adengappa FC was the league Topper with 12 Points. Semi-Finals and Finals were conducted in Knockout Format with Eliminator slots. Team Adengappa FC and Eagles FC are the finalists. The final Match was conducted on 23 March 2024 at ASET Football Ground at 3:30 PM. Principal Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai inaugurated and witnessed the final match. Team Eagles FC was the Winner and Team Adengappa FC are the Runner Up of the tournament. Principal Dr. P.R. Sreemahadevan Pillai distributed the trophies to the winners on 25th March 2024 from ASET Center Courtyard at 12:30 PM. SUNIL from S6 CE was selected as the Top Scorer of the Tournament and Best Player of the Tournament. More than 100 students participated in the tournament. A great deal of enthusiasm and sportsmanship was seen in the students.
