A team comprising Greeshma, Nitin, and Shahina (S8 Civil Engineering) participated in the Bharat Nav-Nirmaan Challenge, held on 9 March 2026 at Kochi. The team was accompanied by Mr. Akhil Krishnan, Assistant Professor – Civil Engineering.
The Bharat Nav-Nirmaan Challenge is a national inter-college innovation competition for civil engineering and allied disciplines, presented by The Times of India in association with NICMAR and supported by AICTE. The challenge encourages students to propose innovative solutions to real-world infrastructure and development problems in areas such as urban mobility, construction technology, sustainability, and smart infrastructure.
The competition is conducted through multiple stages including college rounds, city and regional finals, culminating in a national grand finale, providing students an opportunity to showcase their ideas and technical expertise on a national platform.
