Ahalia School of Engineering Celebrates College Day with Grandeur Palakkad, March 31:
Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology celebrated its College Day on March 31, 2026, with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, faculty, and staff. The celebrations began in the morning with an energetic DJ performance by DJ Kishore from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, creating a lively and festive atmosphere on campus. The formal function commenced at 11:30 AM with a prayer led by Ms. Dhanya P G, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering. Mithun M, Secretary of the College Student Council, delivered the welcome address. The Principal inaugurated the function and presented the annual report, highlighting the academic achievements, research contributions, and various activities of the institution over the past year. Felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. Krishnakumar Kishor, Vice Principal; Dr. Rajeev N, Dean Academics; and Dr. G Murugananth, Dean Research. They appreciated the efforts of students and faculty and encouraged continued excellence. The event also featured a prize distribution ceremony recognizing outstanding achievements in sports, NSS activities, arts, NPTEL certifications, and academic performance. Faculty members who secured excellent results in the academic year 2025–2026 were also honoured. Semester toppers and best outgoing students from each department were awarded during the function. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Irin Renju, Vice Chairperson of the Student Council. In the afternoon session, a farewell programme was organized for the 2022–2026 batch. The event was marked by cultural performances, nostalgic moments, and heartfelt messages from faculty and students, making it a memorable send-off for the graduating batch.
