A one day training programme for civil engineers and supervisors was organized on 25 March 2022 in association with Chettinad Cements and the Department of Civil Engineering, ASET. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET. The sessions were handled by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET on ‘Construction Materials – An Overview’, Er. B. Suresh, All India Technical Head, Chettinad Cement Corporation Pvt Ltd. on ‘Precast Concrete Technology – A Case Study’, Kripa K. M., HOD, Dept. of Civil Engineering, ASET on ‘Test on Rheological Properties on Concrete’, Dr. Mahima Ganeshan, Assistant Professor, ASET on ‘Special Concretes’, and Vivek V. S., Assistant Professor, ASET on ‘Concrete Mix Design as per IS 10262-2019’. The participants including contactors, engineers, supervisors and ASET staff and students benefitted from the technical sessions.
