The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology (ASET), organized a session on “Curriculum Vitae (CV) Preparation Techniques” on 16 April 2024 for final year and pre-final year students of the department. Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor (Executive Director – Ahalia Group & Vice Principal-ASET) served as the program’s resource person. Drawing from his extensive background in academia and research, Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor navigated through the techniques of CV building with finesse and clarity. He emphasized the importance of tailoring resumes to specific job roles, showcasing how strategic customization can significantly enhance one’s chances of success in the competitive job market. Guiding students through each section, he meticulously dissected the anatomy of an impactful CV followed by real-world examples and templates. Moreover, the session covered the critical do’s and don’ts of resume writing, shedding light on common pitfalls to avoid. The session served as a beacon guiding students through the intricate process of crafting a compelling CV. A total of 30 students attended the session and was coordinated by Mr. Dheeraj P(AP-ME) & Mr. Vignesh V (AP-ME).
