NSS Unit 311 and the Energy Cell of Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology conducted an orientation session on “Basics of Disaster Management” at Visvesvaraya Hall on March 3, 2026.
The programme began with the NSS song and welcome address by Ms. Anuja S. Dr. P. R. Suresh, Principal, delivered the Presidential Address. The session was led by Ms. Lekha Chacko, District Hazard Analyst, who spoke on disaster preparedness and the role of students in emergencies.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Sneha and a feedback session.
