EEE ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION – 2026–27

The inauguration of the EEE Association for the academic year 2026–27 was conducted on 10 September 2026 at Visvesvaraya Hall with the participation of faculty members, students and invited guests.

The programme was presided over by Dr. Rajeev N., Dean – Academic. Dr. Pradip C., HOD, EEE Department, delivered the welcome address and warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, invited guests and students.

The inauguration was formally conducted by Mr. Madanamohan, IRSEE, DyCEE, Southern Railway (Retd.). Following the inauguration, Dr. Murugananth G., Dean – Research, felicitated the association. A memento was presented to the Chief Guest by Dr. Rajeev N., Dean – Academic, as a token of appreciation.

As part of the programme, a presentation on the EEE Department and the plans and activities proposed for the current academic year was delivered by Ms. Niveditha, Second Year EEE student. The presentation highlighted the department’s academic and co-curricular initiatives and the activities planned for the benefit of students during the academic year.

This was followed by an informative session on the Evolution of Indian Railways by Mr. Madanamohan. The session provided students with valuable insights into the historical development, technological advancement and transformation of the Indian Railways over the years. The session was highly informative and engaging, and students actively participated in the question-and-answer session that followed.

The programme concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Vishal V. Nair, Final Year EEE student, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty members, invited guests and students for their valuable participation and support.

All faculty members of the EEE Department and invited guests actively participated in the programme, contributing to its successful conduct.

Quiz Programme

Immediately following the inauguration programme, a quiz competition was organised for the Second, Third and Final Year EEE students. The quiz provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge, enhance their competitive spirit and engage in a meaningful academic activity.

The EEE Association inauguration and the subsequent quiz programme were successfully conducted, providing students with an enriching combination of academic interaction, industry exposure, knowledge sharing and student engagement.
