The Department of Mechanical Engineering & Computer Science Engineerin gsuccessfully organized a Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “EDU AI: Redefining the Art of Teaching” with the objective of empowering educators to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence into teaching, learning, research, and academic administration. The programme served as a platform for faculty members to explore the transformative potential of AI technologies in higher education and to develop practical skills that enhance instructional effectiveness and research productivity.
The FDP featured a balanced combination of expert lectures, interactive discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, open-source AI platforms, AI-assisted research tools,and emerging trends in AI-enabled education.
