The KTU sponsored faculty development programme on Solid Waste Management, organized by the Civil Engineering Department of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, was inaugurated by Er. P. N. S. Nair , CEO Patspin India Ltd. on 09 January 2020. He congratulated and encouraged the teachers for their initiative in improving technical knowledge. He also shared his professional experiences and ideas with the participants. Dr. G. Murugananth delivered the welcome address and the Principal Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai gave the presidential address. In his presidential address, he spoke about importance of attending faculty development programs for updating the knowledge level. Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Asst. Director (Academics), in his felicitation address, thanked all the eminent resource persons and external participants for their presence in the program. The inaugural function concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Jino John, HoD Civil Dept.
