The Department of Science and Humanities of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology organized the A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technological University sponsored three-day Faculty Development Programme on “Statistical Data Analysis and Optimization Techniques”. The FDP was inaugurated by Shri. P. N. S. Nair, CEO, Pastpin India Ltd on 9th January 2020. Twenty participants from various engineering colleges of Kerala attended the programme. The various sessions were handled by Dr S. Gunasekaran, Professor, Computer Science, ASET, Dr. S. Kannimuthu, Professor, Dept. of IT, Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Dr. N. Shivakumar, Professor, Mathematics, Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Dr. M. Ashok Kumar, Asst. Professor, Mathematics, IIT Palakkad, Dr G. Murugananth, Professor, EEE, ASET, Dr. Binoy Balan K., Professor, Mathematics, ASET. The valedictory functions were held on 11th Jan 2020. The certificates were distributed to the participants and the coordinator Dr. Binoy Balan K., Professor, ASET proposed the vote of thanks.
