Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated by NSS unit of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology in association with Nehru Yuvakendra, Palakkad by creating an awareness among general public on the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public areas.The NSS volunteers actively participated in the cleanliness drive by collecting and disposing off the plastic waste from the surrounding areas of Fort Maidan, Palakkad .The cleanliness drive was organised as the part of district level programme of Nehru Yuvakendra, Palakkad. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Roshan Sanu Y. (NSS PO, Ahalia School of Engineering & Technology).
