The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology successfully conducted a hands-on workshop on CISCO Packet Tracer, Wireshark, and NS2 Simulator on 13th and 16th March 2026 for S6 CSE students.
The workshop provided practical exposure to network simulation, traffic analysis, and real-time troubleshooting. Participants learned to design and configure network topologies, capture and analyze network packets, and simulate network scenarios using NS2. Under the guidance of Sudhesh K M, Research Scholar, and coordinators Kavitha S and Anisree P G, students actively engaged in interactive exercises, gaining valuable skills applicable to academic projects, internships, and careers in networking.
