The NSS Unit and IEEE Student Branch of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology organized a Poster making and Video making competition to create an awareness on Voting, in association with SVEEP, Election Commission of India. The topic was “Importance of Voting”. 28 posters and three videos were received from students of various schools and colleges in Kerala. Four IEEE students participated in the event. The faculty coordinators of the event were Mr. Roshan Sanu Y. (NSS Program Officer) and Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor (IEEE Student Branch Counsellor). The student coordinators were Mr. Aswin U. (S3 CSE) and Mr. Sreevalsan K. R. (S1 EEE). The winner of the competition was Ms. Anila K.M (2nd year, BME, Dhanalakshmi Sreenivasan College of Engineering) and the runner-up was Ms. Sreesha V. (1st year, ECE, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology).
