On 31 March 2022, 20 students of final year (2018-2022) Electronics and Communication Engineering Department along with Mr. Santhosh C, AP, ECE department and Ms. Chippy Binoy, Language Trainer, S&H department of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology visited The National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research (NCPOR) in Vasco da Gama, Goa. The NCPOR is an Indian research and development institution. NCPOR is known for its participation in global experiments, hosting of international conferences and in the leadership of international committees concerned with Antarctic science. We reached the industry at 2:00 pm, the person in charge gave us a brief introduction on their research stations and scientific research activities undertaken by several national institutions and organizations in Antarctica, the Arctic and in the Indian Ocean sector of the southern ocean. Overall, the students gained information on polar and ocean researches and various research stations and it was a great source of information.
