On account of International Earth Day, Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad celebrated the occasion by conducting awareness program and literary events on 6 May 2022. Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) carried out the half daylong event for civil engineering students. Essay writing competition was conducted with the current theme “Invest In Our Planet” and around 30 students participated in the event. An awareness competition was conducted with the theme “One Earth One Life” The proposed event was a group competition and 5 groups participated in the skit. The coordinators awarded the winners with “Save Earth” hampers.
