The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology organized a webinar on Job Opportunities in the VLSI Semiconductor Industry on 13th February 2026 for S6 ECE students. The session was conducted online through Zoom Workplace and witnessed the active participation of 43 students.
The main objectives of the webinar were:
- To create awareness about career opportunities in the VLSI semiconductor industry
- To guide students on required technical skills and industry expectations
- To provide clarity on different job roles and career paths
- To motivate students to pursue careers in core electronics domains
Mr. Kamelsh Yadhav Mentor at Takshila institute of VLSI Technologies delivered an informative and insightful session.He explained the rapid growth of the semiconductor sector and its crucial role in modern technologies such as AI, IoT, communication systems, and automotive electronics. He also explained career growth prospects, salary trends, and the increasing demand for skilled VLSI professionals. The webinar concluded with an engaging Q&A session where students clarified their doubts regarding higher studies, certification courses, internships, and preparation strategies for entering the VLSI industry. The webinar was highly beneficial and informative for the S6 ECE students. It provided valuable insights into the VLSI semiconductor industry and guided students on how to prepare for career opportunities in this rapidly growing field.
