Ahalia School of Engineering and Technology, Palakkad conducted a 30 days free online Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Entrance coaching for higher secondary students. The coaching was conducted with an intention to impart the knowledge on the fundamental concepts of Basic Sciences. The KEAM coaching classes were inaugurated by Dr. P.C. Reghuraj, Principal, Government Engineering College, Palakkad on 20th June 2021. Dr. Binoy Balan K., Prof. and Head, Department of Science and Humanities, welcomed the gathering. Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Principal, ASET, delivered the presidential address. Dr. Krishna Kumar Kishor, Vice Principal, ASET felicitated the gathering. Prakash D., Prof. & Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.
The KEAM classes commenced on 21st June 2021 and ended on 16th July 2021. The KEAM model question papers (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) were discussed for the benefit of students. As an extension of this coaching class, a KEAM crash course was organised from July 19 to July 30 2021. Around 150 students participated in the coaching and the crash course. A total of 60 hours were utilised for the intensive coaching and crash course. Dr. Binoy Balan K., Prof & Head, Science and Humanities Department convened the programme. Ms. Bindu Valoor (Manager, Academics Outreach), Ms. Prabha R. (AP, SH), Mr. Thannasi C. (AP, SH), coordinated the coaching classes. Also a free online KEAM model exam was conducted from 02-08-21 to 05-08-21 to prepare the students for KEAM entrance examination. Mr. Abhijit V. (AP, EC) coordinated the online conduct of the KEAM mock test. The team put their whole-hearted efforts to make the programme a great success. The participants also gave a positive feedback to the coaching classes.
