On 6th March 2025,Ahalia Group, in collaboration with the Kerala State Youth Commission, organized the Lahari Muktha Keralam (Drug-Free Kerala) awareness program at AWACH Auditorium,Ahalia Campus to sensitize students and teachers against alcohol and drug abuse.
The program was inaugurated by Kerala Minister for Electricity, Shri Krishnankutty. The keynote address was delivered by Excise Deputy Commissioner Shri Y. Shibu. Vadakarapathi Panchayat President Shri Jossy Britto, District Youth Commission Coordinator Shri Vijish, State Youth Welfare Commission Member Shri K. Shajahan, Fr. Albert Anand Raj, and Ahalia YAAD Coordinator Dr. Sreejith M. Nair also participated in the event, expressing their support for the YAAD campaign.
The event, led by Ahalia Group institutions saw the participation of heads of various institutions, teachers, staff, and students, contributing to its success.
Organizers stated that awareness programs and discussions were conducted for students under the leadership of YAAD, and efforts will continue to spread awareness against alcohol and drug use in society.
